Scope of this test
KarinAI is testing the connection between its official Instagram account, @karinaiapp, and its backend with invited participants. The test receives a message and, after operator approval, sends a fixed connection-test reply. This test does not call an AI model, generate images or music, charge your KarinAI account, or access your private KarinAI workspace.
This notice covers this limited connection test. Additional AI services and account linking require their own activation and updated information before they become available.
Information we receive
Instagram may send us your account-scoped identifier, message identifiers, timestamps, message text, attachment information, and delivery-related events when you interact with @karinaiapp. An account-scoped identifier identifies your conversation with this Instagram account. The test does not download or generate media.
If you contact support, we also receive the contact details and information you choose to include in your request. Please use a harmless test message and avoid sending sensitive personal information.
How we use and handle it
We use this information to verify the connection, address the reply to the correct participant, prevent duplicate replies, respect requests to stop, investigate failures, and process data requests. Authorized KarinAI operators can access the test records for these purposes.
Meta operates Instagram and processes Instagram messages under its own policies. For this supervised test, Cloudflare transports the HTTPS callback traffic to KarinAI's isolated test receiver. No AI provider receives your message through this test.
Retention and your choices
Test content is kept only for connection validation and troubleshooting. Preparing the fixed test reply removes the original message text from the active test event and its completed raw notification. You can also request content removal through support without creating a KarinAI account.
Content removal can leave limited operational records, including scoped identifiers, notification hashes, delivery outcomes, and an opt-out record. These prevent duplicate replies and preserve whether an attempted reply was accepted or its outcome remains unknown. A deletion-request response will identify any data that remains and explain why; content removal is not a claim that all account records have been erased.
Sending STOP stops future authorized replies when processed. It does not delete existing records and cannot recall a reply already submitted to Instagram. Removing data from KarinAI also does not remove copies held by Instagram or by the other participant in a conversation.
